Process improvement or profit improvement as it is sometimes called, looks at the way an organisation does things and then looks to improve that.
Processes are key to an organisation being adaptable and agile. Poor processes cost time, staff motivation and money but many organisations develop over a period of time and do not step back to review whether the way they are working is the the best way for the organisation as it is now.
